Food safety, Quality and Environment

Fynbo Foods' management system ensures uniform and efficient control of all activities that have an influence on food safety, quality and the environment. The system is updated regularly based on current laws and regulations.


The management system is based on internationally recognised HACCP principles, which are specified in accordance with the Codex Alimentarius Commission’s guidelines and are certified according to recognised food standards BRC - Global Food Standard and IFS - International Food Standard.

Training and education

Through training and education, we motivate our employees to actively participate in work with food safety, quality and the environment. Systematic operational control ensures that all activities that have a significant influence on food safety, quality, the environment and the working environment are monitored and checked.

Hygiene

Our modern production facilities and processing equipment meet the requirements of the EU Regulation on the hygiene of foodstuffs, whilst regular inspections help to ensure that the products are consistently produced under good hygienic conditions and in accordance with principles for good manufacturing practice.


Inspection and external audits

Fynbo Foods is approved by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (DVFA), which performs regular inspections of the production facilities. Furthermore, an annual plant inspection is carried out by an independent accredited certification institute. Fynbo Foods is also endorsed by quality inspectors from some of the largest retail chains. Regular review and evaluation of products, production processes, quality management systems and training activities ensure optimum food safety and product quality.
